Good tearooms, cafes on your ride outs

The topic initially intended for the Club Website, I got prompted to launch it here already!

So what am I looking for: a place with nice food, friendly to bikers and good parking! Somewhere you like to stop on one of your rides!

Sadly closed down! The Haven, London Road, Firsdown, Salisbury SP5 1ST, England

It was recommended to us by Maggie Mather when we were looking for a breakfast place returning home from a V-Twin. It was then called Hilltop Cafe.

We now detour there when arriving on the morning Ferry to get a nice ‘Full English’ after eating all these croissants  before heading west or even north.
The staff is so friendly, the food is great, it has a huge car park, and even a helmet cleaning station. They do Bike nights as well!

My mouth starts watering writing this

Uki

Hungry Hogs on the A47 near Uppingham. Great cuppa, the insults from Sue are free and all part of the service.

In East Yorkshire

Seaways Cafe Fridaythorpe YO25 9RX- Great food, and a popular bike meeting place. It also has Glamping Pods

Just down the road is another favourite Fimber Cabin / Picnic area. YO25 3HG Selling homemade savouries and cakes. There is also a loo.

Haven’t been there this year but can highly recommend this place just of the A414 between Ongar and Chelmsford.

The tea room upstairs has a wide range of cheese bias luncheons.
The cheese shop is diverse and extensive.

The other side of the court yard Buon Vino has some wonderful wines.

Stopped off there on my way to the TT last year. Wonderful!

Well I for one do not want this thread to end here. Unfortunately I don’t have any decent suggestions to offer, but now, thanks to Oafski, I am now aware of a caff near to me that I will visit as soon as I feel it is safe. In fact, I might take a drive by just to see what their seating arrangements are like.

I passed by a couple of weeks back and the sign on the main road said they were doing Takeaways.

Might be worth a phone call.
If you go give me a call and I will meet you and bring your stickers.

The Fish n Chips are excellent.
The Yorkshire Pudding filled with Bangers (Vension or Wild Boar) and Mash with a choice of gravy/sauce are better still.
