I did do a quick search and found only one thread dating back to 2017 which mentioned Goop - hence this new one. Just curious to see what others’ experience of this stuff is like. I’ve been using it for years in my bike and car tyres and not had a single puncture (that I’ve been aware of) since using it. That could of course be coincidence and good fortune on my part or that Goop is doing its job so effectively I’ve not ever noticed when I’ve had a puncture.
On some cars, mainly large SUVs I have found a bit of an issue with wheel balance until the tyres are fully warm but never an issue on motorcycles.
Generally the cheapest place to get this is on eBay.
I have a bottle of OKO which i intended to put into my 125 which has tubed tyres, then i read somewhere it isnt legal for road use so haven’t used it…
not sure if what i read was correct or not but i would like to add it as punctures on a tubed bike supposedly worse at road speeds

No personal experience but I am told by those who have that it may seriously damage alloy wheels, assuming you’re using tubeless tyres. Hence I’ve no intention of using it.

I add Puncture Safe and also have had a puncture in years.
I think the tyre sellers try to put people off this solution.

I had a puncture last November in London due to my dads neighbours using a facebook builder
ha ha its cost her hundreds of thousands to put right
I used one of those aerosol cans
got as far as guildford and it went flat
tried to use a plugging kit and the poxy bradawl bent and snapped
recovered by Tony Botto, and I picked it up a week later
it was a very low point in my life stuck under a bridge at night in the rain
I could not find my insurance companies breakdown details and my wife could not work my PC, turned out they were useless anyway, a company called one call ! Tony Botto is my guardian Angel
he said those aerosol kits all fail in a short distance anyway
I had a flat on the rear wheel of one of my ‘other’ bikes recently (a stone chip was the cause). Running tubes on a spoked wheel. I was carrying a tin of sealant (I don’t remember the brand) which I used, and it got me home, which was about 15 miles.
I binned the old tube and put in a new one when I got home.
Since then I’ve found a replacement product here in France, under the name ‘Facom’ which says on the tin that it is specifically for motos with tubed tyres, and I bought a few tins of it, hoping I never need to use it!
@rapheal_glynn - Goop is a product that you add to your tyre or tube before you have a puncture and it stays in there for the life of the tyre. It is a mixture of inert liquid and kevlar pieces which under centrifugal force and air pressure coat the inside of the tyre whist riding and plug any holes, permanently, usually with a minimal drop in tyre pressure of only 1-2 psi. I cannot say for sure that it works, only that I have used it now for circa 15 years in my bikes and cars and not had a single puncture (that I am aware of) since using it. I may of course have been lucky and not had any punctures at all and therefore the Goop maybe completely useless or a waste of money for me.
