Griso 1200 SE misfire

My Griso developed a misfire on the left cylinder last year.

Local garage spent some time on it but to no avail. New injectors and overhaul, new plugs and leads. Tested the coils. Cleaned out the fuel tank and overhauled the fuel pump. Disconnected peripheral electrics like side stand switch. Compression tests ok and valve clearances ok.

Sent bike to my nearest dealer and they were equally unsuccessful. Nothing coming up on the diagnostics.

Sent the ECU off to Carmo Electronics in Holland (excellent service) and it all tests ok.

So I guess that just leaves the wiring loom??

Anyone had experience of something similar?

‘Developed a misfire’ - right through the rev range or only at certain RPMs?

I can see that you have “tested the coils”…did you try swapping them round? Also did you replace the spark plug cap? Only a thought :thinking:
