The Righthand Footrest hanger on the Griso 1200 SE 2016 (to which the rear brake pedal is also mounted) is no longer produced by MG. I cannot find a new part anywhere. Does anyone know whether this part was also used on a different model MG that could be used ?
I assume you are referring to part number 1 in this diagram from the parts book (available here https://www.guzzitek.org/gb/pl_us_uk/1200/Griso1200_8V_SE_2015_092014_PL(GB).pdf page 13 / 76 )
That comes up as part number 977052 If you google search for Guzzi 977052 it will show you that Stein Dinse have 5 left side in stock, but no right hand ones.
It is out of stock in Fowlers, but it does show it is common across the Griso range, but no other models.
While on the topic of the RH footrest hangar I managed to snap the upper bolt that holds the pillion footrest to that plate. I think it had been cross threaded and was quite tight to undo. The bottom one came undone easily enough.
Anyway I’ve not much about it getting the remaining stud out as I need to get that plate off. Does it come off easily enough? That part diagram is very helpful as It looks like it just unbolts but I guess the brake pedal, switch, and rear brake M/C need managing somehow.
