Does anyone know how many miles you get if you take it really easy once the Griso 1200 SE reserve fuel light comes on? Found myself in a North Norfolk petrol station black spot today & nursed her gently for 26 miles until I found one open. Didn’t fancy having to push her, I’m haunted by the memory of a fully laden Bellagio running out on a French motorway.
It depends what mileage you are getting. I used to get 48-52mpg on long runs below 80mph and i got 40 miles on reserve once - so there may be 4 litres in the reserve.
Assuming Guzzi made the tanks the same (?) less mileage = shorter reserve
If its like the 1200 Sport then when it gets really low it flashes.
Oh, that’s interesting. The only personal comparison I’ve got is the Bellagio. When it gets really low the motor stops
