Griso Tank Removal.

Anyone from the FB page will be aware that I’ve been attending to a pals dead G11 recently. Bad hose on the fuel pump. One thing that concerned me about the job was pulling the external hose from the red elbow - sounded like it could be a right pain. But in fact on removal I just wiggled it a bit and it came off (accepting that with the blown hose within there was presumably no residual pressure there).

With the job done I was refitting last night. I was expecting a clearly detectable ‘snap’ as the hose went back on to the elbow. Not so - I pushed it on as far as I could and it seems OK. Running the bike up it all works (hooray) and it hasn’t blown the external line off. Is that it?
