Gutsibits - Good & Bad

So if you order and pay for parts (in stock) today you will get them possibly tomorrow and definitety by the next day. Excellent.

But if you are awaiting an email re ‘Back in stock’ not so good - keep asking.

Your experience is your experience. Sorry if it’s not worked well for you.

By way of counter, I have never - NEVER - had anything less than first class service from Gutsibits, including total transparency about when an “out of stock” item may (or may not) be expected, and which (in my experience) has included not taking payment for part of the order until they are confident in being able to fulfil it. I generally deal with them by phone, but my emails too are always efficiently dealt with. Always my first port of call.

My experience is as Barry describes.
Without Gutsibits maintaining older Guzzis would be a log harder.

And no one likes a hard log!

I find them pretty good for most items, I had a bit of a wait for a 950 barrel and piston kit for an old T3 but they advised at the time that it might take a while to source. Maintaining two old round barrel guzzis would be a lot harder if they werent there, they have a decent stock of second hand parts for the old bikes too.

I do source some items from Steine Dinse, HMB etc but you can get caught for import tax

I’ll second that sentiment!

Third it. Never had a bad thing. They’re my goto supplier for '70s Guzzi, Brembo and Dell’Orto spares.
They’ve also been really helpful on the 'phone with advice, even when they’re not making money from the call. I always try to be respectful when dealing with people like this. Attitude makes a difference, I think.

ive found them very helpful too and obviously into guzzis, and like talking about them just for the interest as you say without trying to sell you something.

Just my direct experience on some critical awaited parts. No email to inform me, but a re-check of their stock showed the essential parts were re-stocked, I had also emailed about these parts and was assured I would be updated.

As I said excellent service once the order was placed.

I found them good on parts for the stelvio especially secondhand parts. They could quite easily of sold them as NOS but went out of there way to describe in full.
My parts for the V85tt came swiftly and the advice was greatly appreciated.
Good old school customer service and i would heartedly recommend them.

Gutsibits is to my knowlage the only source of parts for my Loop Frames in the UK. Good job too.

Never had a bad experience. Best source for Guzzi spares in the UK. Always found them helpful and informative about out of stock parts. We sometimes forget our bikes are older and spares for them may not always be readily available and a little more patience is required. If iI can’t get what I’m after I’ll try TLM who are also very helpful.

I’d struggle without them.
