Anyone tell me what engine numbers a V50 Mk3 start at
Also was brown paintwork only used on the above bike
Any points I should look for when checking out a Mk3

Looking at the database on the Dutch Guzzi club, the numbers should start with PF
PF 11111 - PF … V50 III - 500cc (1980 - …)
Chassis and engine Prefix for the MkIII is PF except for the Monza and MkIII’s in the US when it is PE.
The horrible brown color was only used on the MkIII i believe.

Went and looked at the Mk 3 V50, not what I was hoping, so I’m still looking for a nice V50, preferably Mk 3 , maybe NATO ,not sure really as I have limited knowledge of these small block bikes
Any help appreciated
