Hi all can a twin solid state coil replace the twin coils,need to create some space.:thinking:

I would of thought that you need to retain 2 independent coils as the 2 cylinders fire 90 degrees apart. It is not like an old Brit twin where both cylinders run together.

Not a guru in electrical dept, but RITA ignition gives the spark simultaneously on both cylinders, and RITA used on three-cylinder Triumphs and possibly Laverdas does such a trick too. So defo two sparks at the same time make no problem. RITA uses two 6V coils connected in line, they cannot be activated separately.
