Excellent weekend at the Guzzifest in Shropshire.
Bridgnorth Rugby club is a cracking venue in a lovely little town and is a credit to Robin Padgett and his team.
Around eight Penniners travelled down to the event, plus a couple of waifs and strays we adopted for the weekend,… Paul Carr from the Cumbrian Crew and Kenny from Scotland, and we all had a fantastic time.
On Saturday, Julian Franck lead a rideout, there was a Guzzi Dealer on site (Sycamore Motorcycles), and of course there was the town, with it’s funicular and fine selection of pubs.
In the evening we were entertained by the band “Fake News” who got the assembled Guzzisti rocking.
“Some” of us enjoyed it a little Too much . (but at least I I didn’t get a telling off from a pyjama clad Sue Nock this year:rofl:)
It was grand to catch up with everyone.,
Many thanks to the Guzzifest Team for all your hard work organising the event (including sorting out the weather
)
(PS..one of our chaps Wulf, lost his phone over the weekend. If anyone found it could you pm me please.)

A cracking weekend. Thanks to all who helped organise and set up the event. Apparently there are 21 pubs in Bridgnorth. The East and North Yorks crew managed to count 19 of them. Yes we did enter one.
It was a great weekend, the staff in the clubhouse were exceptional. Serena and l talked of the event, , 25 yrs ago , hope we can return, best venue since Shaftesbury
It was a pleasure to host the MGCGB. Thanks for leaving the site so clean and ready for the match on Sunday afternoon. See you all next year
