handlebar switches V85tt

I want to change the handlebars -
It seems good quality - metal held together with lots of torx & crosshead screws
I have undone the hinge that clamps the switch to the bars but cannot see how to actually release the switchblock.
Has anyone done this?

Only idea is that the black button indicated on the picture is a rivet - can anyone confirm before i drill it out ?

i got my handlebars rotated slightly as they were not comfortable as standard, mechanic rotated the switch gear as well. he said the bars have a dimple in that is used to line them up but he didnt mention having to drill out any rivets.

not sure is the dimple only in the mounts or the switchgear as well, workshop manual should show it though. I’ll see can i find it in there and post a photo if i do

I looked in the manual - it just says undo the 2 torx screws on the ‘hinge’ and remove the switchgear.

OK the rivet in the hinged plate under the switch block locates loosely into a hole under the bars. So once you have undone the two small torx screws (2x Tx9 each held by a tiny rubber washer and a PH2 screw in the rt hand switchblock.) you just lever the hinged plated down until the rivet lifts out of its hole.

Is that the e5 manual?
The pages are different to my e4 one

i think it’s Euro 4, going by publication date 2019 and the photos of the exhaust which show downpipes removal from the catalytic converter and the lambda sensors on the bottom
