Hello from Coventry.

Hi From Coventry.
Thanks for adding me. I’ve just purchased a V7 Stone special. & loving the riding experience.
(I had a 2019 V85tt which was great, but I find the V7 a better fit for me)
Hoping to find advice for a rear rack, & most suitable engine crash protection.

Hello Declin. My my that is a fine looking machine. I have a 2022 Stone and I fitted a Givi rear rack as it sits level with the seat. The frame of the rack makes a very sturdy handle when I pull the bike onto its centre stand. The Centre is an MG accessory that I fitted myself and is actually really useful and not difficult to use. This is the Givi rack without a top box plate ( it now has one but I thought you might like to see it without one).

Not sure if this is the right version of rack for your bike?

This is a Hepco and Becker one. The one in the picture above looks neater, but will it fit?

Hi Brockett. Thanks for putting the photo on. I have been looking at the Givi rack and it is so helpful to see a proper photo of one fitted to the bike. I must say it looks good and seems to be a decent size. It’s probably the way I will go.
Respect to you for fitting a centre stand. I had one fitted by the dealer - I chickened out of trying it myself.
Thanks again for the pic

Hi Don-Spada.
Thanks very much for all this info its very much appreciated.
I have emailed Jurgen regarding the rack you linked me to, so maybe I will have the rack sorted soon…
Thanks again

Hi Declin (and everyone else).

This post caught my eye as I took delivery of the same model this week and am also in Cov.

Great bike.
Maybe see you around the area at some point.

Hi MotoBrownie.
Congrats on what is a great bike. It’s even getting me out in the cold & damp:)

Hi , I’ve fitted the Givi rear rack with the integrated frames for mounting panniers should you need them. I currently use one for mounting a army surplus utility bag for my disc lock. Engine crash protection is an MG item along with the screen and centre stand. Hope you enjoy your new bike.

Hi Rev-Chris.
Thanks, thats very helpful & I like the neat disc lock bag.
Couple of questions please if you don’t mind…
What size is your top box? & where did you get the front mudguard extender? - it looks a useful size.
Many thanks

The top box is Givi Monoloc. Not sure how many litres but the dimensions are 40cm wide, 38cm deep, 30cm high. Easy fit for a single helmet plus a rain jacket, gloves etc.
The fender extender is a Pyramid item. Good quality and works well in practice. Apologies for the delay in replying, just picked up your message.

Thats great, and more than helpful thanks.
I will order the pyramid extender in the morning
