OK I have recently bought a 2018 V7 III Stone. Now I have ridden it for half-a-year, I have decided to use it as a blank canvas to carry out some upgrades.
At this stage I am investigating suspension, exhaust, front brake, cosmetics etc. The list will be long but will not be done overnight - this will be a running project.
The question I pose is: Based in the Welsh Marches near Hereford, are there any specialists within a couple of hours from here who can oversee these upgrades? We have a really great local bike mechanic who is fab for day to day maintenance, and very busy!, but not really there to perform major upgrades. But I do not know anywhere by recommendation.
Looking forward to some positive responses

Welcome aboard. Sadly, being only a gulls call away from the North sea, I cannot help. However, I am sure your project will of interest here especially with the odd photo or three.
Yep, I will post As Is over the weekend, and in the months (years!) ahead we’ll see the transformation. Thanks
Steffords in Worcester used to be a Guzzi dealer, but have dropped the brand a couple of years ago, but I believe their mechanics are still quite Guzzi Savvy.
Another one close to you would be Slaters Laverda if they are still going? Google says they are in Collington?
If you search in this forum for Mechanic, there is a list of names that have been suggested

Thanks, I will search the forum as suggested.
Welcome. For servicing etc may be worth contacting Martin Vermeer a member of the S Wales branch and both skilled and knowledgeable.
On June 2nd there is an Italian bike day at Powis Arms, Lydbury North. Well worth a visit to meet fellow Guzzisti from across the area

I think Slaters closed a little while back. Rowan Bell at Thorne Engineering bought their remaining Laverda stock. He’s based just south of York, which (living in south York as I do) suits me nicely as I’ve recently recommissioned a Laverda Alpino. That said, Rowan is looking to retire soon.
