After a good run there is an oil leak on the underside of the carc seemingly from the cable retaining clips…any sdvice on the cause or cure please?
Are you sure oil is leaking from there or is that just the lowest and rearmost point before the drops make a break for freedom? In that situation I would give the underside a throrough clean and then try to find the source. Could even be from sump blowing back
Perhaps a sniff of the oil will tell you if it’s trans or engine.

Not sure what happens if the breather from the airbox isn’t emptied occasionally, but if oil was seeping down that it would land under the Carc.
Check not carc oil filler washer, after changing dif oil notice oil around drain plug traced back to filler. Changed washer again now sorted.
