Italian supplier scam!

Hi Folks.
Being new to MG and needing rare parts from an Italian ‘supplier’ I went ahead and ordered! Nothing has arrived, the seller will not cancel the and refund the orders and now I’m told on FB others are being treated the same!!!
Stuchi is the name, any ideas please?

Contact the bank that issued the card you paid with and tell them what has gone on and that you’d like to use their chargeback service.

It doesn’t cost you anything.

I’ve had to use it a few times now. You only need to have paid a nominal amount too, so for big purchases even when using a bank transfer, pay say a fiver on your card and the entire sum should be covered.

Google it first to double check I’m not making a hash of it all. But I’m sure all card providers have to offer this protection.

Thank you Moto, did try with MBNA but they only work ‘office hours’, poor overworked bots!!!

Guzzi Retro have a far better reputation just lately, Stucchi seem to have gone down hill recently.

Big problem is I’ve paid Stucchi and my money is frozen with Paypal and even my bank cannot help - and there was me thinking how cautious am with money!

If you have paid through Paypal, then they should be able to get it back. Take it up with them.

I had a similar experience with Brixiamoto, an Italian seller on eBay UK.

in the end Brixiamoto dried up, didn’t send the item and I had to get a refund from PayPal who were very prompt.

i had the opposite experience with brixamoto, shock i ordered for a jap bike ended up being sent to NI, then sent to france where it vanished. i cancelled the order, reported it to paypal and got my money back.

then they sent me another shock, despite my order being cancelled and money already refunded.

as you know, unsolicited goods are legally a gift.

I also brought from them, paid PayPal, raised a issue with PayPal and was refunded immediately….

Would dearly like to know how you woke Paypal up, they will do nothing until the seller actually does something which currently, he’s not!!!

I just raised a case, said that I had sent them an email asking for an update which I received no reply, PayPal responded and said how do I want the refund, the paid it back virtually immediately……
