Looking at the events calendar there seems to be very little going on this year in the second half of the season that I can attend. Does anyone know of anything planned for September or October? I failed to get tickets for Guzzifest as it apparently sold out in May. Red Kite unfortunately moved to July to a weekend I can’t make (and clashes with Calne too). Is Clocks back happening? Any interest in resurrecting the Autumn camp?
Yes, the AGM being voted into Guzzifest has left a whole. Just need to get on that Survey Monkey and support Becky Fellows proposal to reinstate it as a stand alone event and late September might get busy again.
Already did that. The lack of capacity at the Guzzifest also means that many members will not be able to attend the AGM owing to lack of camping availability/licence capacity of the hall

Hi, there’s a simple truth in all of these comments.
It take volunteers to run events and at this time, we have been under-strength centrally, with no Events Officer in post since Sue Nock stood down at last years AGM. Historically, our website events calendar has been updated and maintained by this role.
The club passed 3,200 members this month, this is the highest subscription level in our history and circa 400 increase since I took over the role in late 2024.
In order to continue to locate and organise venues for club events, we need your feedback from branches via Branch Liaison Damian Lockley or PRO Martin Sharp, to help us support you run local events, publicise other non-club organised events we could be part of, such as regional shows, or perhaps start up one yourself.
You don’t have to stand to be a full-time committee member, the more members that are willing to provide a few hours here and there, would greatly assist either one of the committee posts, or perhaps at a local level, your branch reps.
We still have a number of pre-existing branches that currently have no branch reps to organise a local regular meeting or ride-outs etc.
