Hi again!
Currently struggling a bit with the LM1 dropped handlebars (plus rearsets). My other bike is a Norton Commando Roadster with high bars so its a bit of a struggle at the moment to get used to the position and my back and arms are feeling it. If I can’t suck it up would anyone kindly let me know of any adjustable bars to take the location back and up to make it a bit more comfortable (my guess). Advice on possible clutch cable and brake hose changes also appreciated.
Regards
Eddie
Some people fit Jota bars that have some adjustment, I have Tommaselli bars but mine are clip-ons below the top yoke, so probably too low for your needs I did have a set of 750S adjustable height bars that I had machined out for 38mm forks but I sold them as they were too high for me at the lowest they went, also they made fitting the headlamp difficult.
Thanks Chris. 750S was my 1st choice but the LM1 was too clean and well maintained to pass up. Hopefully some other members may have worked through some adaptions. As you said (previous post) my bars are not original so an option would be for me to cut and reweld to more comfortable dimensions.

I bought a street fighter handlebars kit from Moto CNC. I dropped the yokes down the fork legs about 3/4" to fit the kit above the yoke. They clamp to the fork leg as a clip on would bit they have clamps so you can fit any 22mm handlebars. I ended up fitting a pair of LSL clubman handlebars which raise you up slightly from standard Le Mans clip ons but also bring you back about an inch or so. This made the riding position much more comfortable. My Le Mans also has Marzocchi forks on it.
Really appreciate the information, would you mind sending a few images of what it looks like fitted to your LM when you get time and also if there was a particular LSL Clubman bar that you went for. Also, did the clutch cable and brake hose have to be altered?

If you pm me an email address I’ll send you some photos. I can’t seem to post photos on here using my phone. I didn’t have to change any of the cables or hoses. It’ll all depend on how high a pair of handlebars you eventually fit but with the ones I chose all was still ok.
Just for the record, I puit on Spada 1 'bars (already had them), but required different switchgear, and LM1 needs LM2 top yoke with the h/bar clamps. I also changed footrests and pedals to T3 ones. Wasn’t cheap or simple!
Thanks for all of the information that gives me a number of options. One choice could be fabricating a variation on the design of these Dresda swan neck clip ons to the final location of Pugwashes Streetfighter kit. Currently working at a precision engineers so have the fabrication equipment.
Cheers

Hi - I think Tarrozi (sp?) and maybe others do replicas of the old Tomasselli adjustable jobbies - That would allow you to bring them up and back without any problems
They seem expensive to me at £144, but I guess if they do what you want them to do and it helps your riding position they then seem reasonable.
If you want to keep the rivet counters at bay then spray them black!
