The pinion bearing has failed in my bevel box, damaging both crown and pinion gears - what a mess! Is there anyone out there who reconditions bevel boxes?
Simplest and cheapest option, get onto Reboot Guzzi spares see if he’s got a complete final drive, will be standard 7/33 ratio so commonest.
I found a web site selling gear sets (SD-Tec?), 399 Euros. ‘ordered upon customer request’ so not held in stock. Plus you’ll want all other bearings and seals.
The other option would be Gutsibits for a secondhand replacement, They are quoting £480 to £630 on their website.

Or Nigel at NBS has a good reputation for rebuilding bevel boxes. He is near Stafford.

There’s abevel box come up for sale on ebay from a 2003 California that should fit.
I think the 1100 cali would be a 8/33 box.
Guzziology says that the 1100 Cali’s are 8/33.
I think Mike H suggested that above. A good shout but it would depend when he is over here or the OP is in France!
