I’m looking for Mk V tank and seat lock assemblies, can anyone help?

If you are armed with some part numbers, things can be easier to find than you imagine.

Seat Lock No: 27468720 also fit SP3 / Lario + others!

Tank Lock No: 14736856 Also fits V35-50 / SP3 / Cali 2 + others

Thanks Nik; according to my parts manual the tank lock is GU14736856 and the square seat lock is GU19782520. Does that mean the original part numbers were superceded/replaced by the ones you mention?

Hi Pete

GU 14736856 and 14736856 is the same thing. The GU prefix is the ‘official’ way of writing the Part No.

19782520 is the Part No for the Steering Lock assembly. 27468720 is the correct Part No for the Seat Lock assembly.

Managed to find a tank lock and ordered a seat lock from Harper’s, thanks for the advice.
