I have a lemans mk2 which im restoring are the fork lowers black or colour coded as in the attached picture of another bike of the same colour

never seen colour coded like this normally black or plain alloy! but personal choice i guess! anything is good its your bike afterall!.

This advert is from the time of the release of the Mk 2 Le-Mans and it shows black fork legs.

I remember that advert - it was a lot of cash at the time

Certainly a lot more than the japanese competition - a 250 LC was £999
