As much as I would have loved to ride ‘up north’ alas I’m unable as I’ll be in Puglia from the end of July through to the end of August.

I will be going
I flew into there once. Really interesting place and a good cafe.
The Nevada is not compfy on a long run so won’t be going though.
LAHC East Kirkby have confirmed today that Avro Lancaster ‘Just Jane’ will run her engines at 11am, 1.30pm and 4.00pm during taxi-run displays.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event on Saturday. The forecasted afternoon thundery showers didn’t materialise and except for a shower around 4.00pm most of us managed to stay dry at East Kirkby. Given the rather soggy summer we’ve all experienced we consider ourselves lucky the event wasn’t badly affected by rain.
