Apologies, I’m being a bit lazy here and could probably find the info on the interweb somewhere, but what are you using for your Lodola 175 and 235 spark plug? They seem to be be the short throw type too. Mine has an original pink Lodge in it, but it’s a bit worn after 50 plus years…
NGK B7ES in mine. Not shorty though! Originally fitted with Marelli CW225G, whatever that is…
Thanks Nick, though my Italian manuals for the Lodola 175 give a Marelli CW250B, and a Marelli CW225LV, which is different to what you quote. Where did you get your Marelli CW225G from?
To answer my own question just looked in another Lodola manual and it says Marelli CW225G to CW225L, so you’re right but there are three different ratings right there!
Mine runs fine on the NGK B7ES, and apparently you can use B6ES too. I can’t remember where I found out which to use, but I think it might have been the Peck rebuild articles in Gumbalunga.
