Is there a reliable alternative to the mechanical regulator stuck on the end of the dynamo of the Lodola 175?
I have two, both of which are now non functioning.

You could try Paul Goff. He’s pretty good on electrical items like this

Get a modern reg/rectifier, I fitted one of these, only one I could find after much research that will do the job http://www.dynamoregulators.com/dvr4.php
Not cheap but works very well. Wish I was on a commission the number of Lodola owners I’ve recommended them to!
