Some time ago I saw a Lodola with a folding kickstart lever, I never got the chance to ask the owner what bike it came off but I presume it’s Japanese being on the left side of the bike. Has anyone got any knowledge of this please, or suggestions ? I’m asking this question because my kickstart goes solid when it meets engine compression. With the plug out it turns over effortlessly. I’ve had to straighten the cross shaft twice as it has bent slightly at the end behind the lever. So, I’m thinking that if I could get a lever, preferably with a cotter pin fixing, I could maybe make that end of the shaft a bit beefier. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
