Love the look of them, but dislike using them. They have closed ends so not possible to wedge a thin screwdriver in except inboard on the left side, and with the high ramp of the Tomaselli throttle body access of air or screwdriver almost impossible even on the inside.
I’d rather not have to cut them off in case I want to reuse them in future, as I presume these are tricky to come by.
Any suggestions as I’d prefer to buy straight grips to better use the palm throttle assist which isn’t made for the existing curve of these grips.
Wondering if I should bite the bullet and purchase a new throttle and leave these intact?
V7 Loop grips £22 from Gutsibits. Versus how much and how much hassle for a new throttle and fitting?!
Cut them off if you don’t like them. A kitchen knife should do it. Or a Dremel if you’re feeling fancy.

Cheers Barry. That’s what I’ll do then.

Maybe try warming them up with a hairdryer or hot air gun (on a low setting) might help to get them moving.

If you really dont want to destroy them, remove L/H Switchgear and Throttle Unit. Place a 22mm, or similar, open ended spanner over the Bars in place of Switchgear and throttle and then tap them off with a mallet, tapping the spanner! Works for me everytime!
