Can anyone tell me how to reset the spanner icon on my 1200 Sport’s instrument panel? I had it serviced a week or so back with the odo reading 700 miles ish. According to the manual the ‘spanner’ lights up around the 900 mile (1500m) mark. I’ll ring the dealer later today, but its a 160 mile round trip to take it back just to have them remove a warning symbol so if the members here can explain to me how to reset it, that would be great thanks.
You have to toggle the menu to diagnostics, then enter the service code see here.http://motoguzziclub.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=15099Then one of the options is reset service.
