I also bought an Aldi one and it does what I need it to do . Not yet tried Dettol .
Don’t get it in any cuts!
Have used mine for several years for cleaning glasses, small brass ornaments and other oddments, have never tried dettol but found a small drop of flash floor cleaner speed things up a bit.
Is this item big enough for carbs? I have been looking around for one but wary of those whose purpose seems to be cleaning jewellery or small electrical bits and bobs.
