I popped down and a new face showed up on his lovely V35 Lario
Nigel, nice to see you, I had chatted to a few non club members on Guzzis and invited them along, and I did in fact see one of them on the A40 go sailing by ??
probably my looks put them off

sorry not to join you today - my Cali T3 is a little poorly (and, frankly, it wouyld have been too warm to pull the clobbeer on!) - I’ll be back!
It really was too hot
we stayed inside the pub in the cool air
I stopped off on the way home to see an old friend and stayed for 3 hours until it was cool enough to continue
