Saved myself a few quid today bought usb twin socket off evil bay for about £13 then a Halfords 2 way super seal kit (male /female) ELEC177 FOR £4.99 only needed the female connector, wired it up works perfect off ignition , all done under £20 nice saving

I did similar. Lead and twin switched socket with integrated fuse for less than 6 quids from same site. Connected to battery terminals and voila!

i think the MG item cost me 30 or so, I’ll try and find the receipt next time I dig the paperwork out no way it was 80+ because i wouldn’t have bought it

superseals on fleabay normally around 10 for £6 postage inc.
is the cheapest Superseal crimping tool I have come across. I’ve just bought one - it works great!
Do you have to crimp twice, once for the wire and once for the seal?
There are two types listed for superseal, IWS or IWC both are 142B
Yes, with this tool (1424B) it’s a 2 crimp process but you’re talking another £25 or more for the crimpers that do it in one hit so if you’re feeling rich…
