The three amigos from the Danum branch were out and about on Thursday (17th July). Sorry, no photos.
We meet up at McDonald’S Redhouse, north of Doncaster, at 09:00.
We took a circular route to Penistone, to the start of the Mortimer road. A 19th century toll road into the Peak District and takes a twisting route to the A57. It’s a great road that has to be done. From the A57 various B road roads took us to Hartington, with a stop at the Farm Shop and Cafe for lunch/breakfast. Unto us Graham and Wendy Cooper from the Stafford branch were also visiting the cafe. From here, the three of us headed north, with a stop at Grindelford Station Cafe before splitting up and heading home.
