i have a euro5 one i will be selling once i get a remap kit, not sure if they work for e4

Hi do you still have the booster plug by any chance. I have a standard E5 V85 and its pinking under load at high revs so thought ide try the booster plug a start point.
hi jase, yes it’s still fitted to the bike, I’ll remove it when i get a g corsa remap kit but I don’t have a definite date yet. it’s one of the things on the list but due to the cost of them won’t be an immediate buy.
Ah right ok. Thier out of stock at thr moment on guzbits so ill just keep an eye out
as a quick easy fix have you tried 97 or 99 octane petrol?
although of course they run on 95/E10 it isn’t really ideal, I’ve only used it when i had to (southern ireland only sells E10). the other potential issue is which ecu map it has, I’ve had a bad map applied at dealer which caused problems, easily fixed.
Hi, yes i run the bike on E5 but it’s still pinking under load. It had its 6k service at the dealers who confirmed it had the latest MAP software installed. Ive been reading the feeds on the group and i think i may try the UpMap route. The bike is totally standard and ill probably leave it like this as long ad the UpMap works.
