Mobile mechanic

I am a newbie Moto Guzzi owner ( and loving it, including this forum!) I now have a 3 year old Moto Guzzi V7 special E5. Does anyone have any recommendations for Moto Guzzi specialist (a mobile mechanic would be fantastic) who is good with the V7. Don’t need anything doing as of yet, can do routine servicing and valve adjustment myself but looking ahead in case I need any specialist care. Any contacts recommended would be appreciated. I am based in NW London

you are far safer having work carried out in a proper workshop, with decent light and heating, and no risk of thieving scum creeping up and liberating parts and tools

Raphael Glynn is right in my mind, you have a top Guzzi Mechanic in South London, Baldrick, he advertises in the back of Gambalunga. From where you are you could ride your bike on the magic roundabout (M25) and catch a tube home.

Apparently he speaks very highly of me too, but I have yet to hear him

Thank you guys, yes reading the forum I have read about Baldrick, and he has a great reputation but its a long way for me to go. I will keep looking.

er a long way to go ? its a motorcycle, a good run will improve it no end
I rode mine to Italy to have a starter motor fitted ( well I had a holiday as well)
I have a good technician in Didcot, thats not far from London
in fact I ride my motorcycle there 60 miles each way, because I trust him and he does a good job
you could perhaps ask local motorcyclists, if they know of a small business local to you ?
