A couple of issues with my rebuilt Monza.
Getting a lot of popping and banging when at 1/3rd throttle or below. Running K&Ns with 128 main jets.
Starter is not disengaging immediately, bit stays meshed for a few seconds after the engine fires.
Size of main jets will have little effect for 1/3 throttle and below. That would be the idling system mixture & needle position?
The starter issue suggests solenoid is sticky, not retracting fast enough. The lever that slides the pinion forward into mesh needs its pivot cleaning and greasing.
