More help needed.

My seat/saddle has 2 places that look like they should anchor it to the frame and there are 2 parts of the frame that look like they should be involved in this.
What mechansim is missing? Internet searches have been fruitless…
Hoping this posting will help as it usually does :+1:

Most likely a pillion grab rail or something like that – I only say that based on same experience I had with a big-block, it needed the grab rail to join the seat to the frame, then it could pivot on two bolts.

I’ll take a few pics tomorrow and post them here. It would be interesting to see how my saddle compares to yours.

I bet you meant a latch underneath the seat, this one(note price!!!):

I got this in my V50II, so probably yours would be the same.

Good lord a blimey!
Yes that looks like it would do the job but I may try to find another solution…

Try Gutsibits or Reboot spares before you go down a different route, these things are only that expensive when bought from greedy twits…

PS I have just had a look at their website and most of the stuff looks expensive, 250 euros fo a single side panel. But I suspect that they must get some custom.

Ah-hah! Quite different to my Spada seat version, but I no longer have the bike.

I am now awaiting one coming from Italy. The delivery is more expensive than the seat catch but hey ho.
