Moto Guzzi Sightings

Just stepping out from Hampstead tube station an hour ago, heard an interesting sound followed by a luverly looking black Ambassador coming round the corner. Looked fab…

hmmm, Hampstead… Ambassador… Gladys wossisname?

Drove and rode past a black 1200 Sport parked in Ely with a for sale sign on it.

Went to the little local bike shop that’s in the middle of nowhere just to see what they have. I was shown a 1000G5 the owner has just picked up. He wasn’t absolutely sure what he’d got and it doesn’t run at the moment. Has stood for about 13 years he says.

where
keep us updated

It’s near Lampeter, Ceredigion. I gave the guy my phone number so he can get in touch if he needs any help. He intends to keep it.

Just got back from a fortnight in northern Italy (Alto Adige/Sudtirol) and as usual scarce a Guzzi to be seen. Finally came across two Calis parked at two adjacent biergartens near Caldaro/Kaltern. Distance from Mandello is about a hundred miles I suppose. Wheels of choice in those parts still seem to be Harleys & BMWs with the odd Buell.

Silver T5 parked on Heath Road Sandbach (Cheshire) around 10.30am. The owner is clearly a trusting soul as the keys were left in the ignition.

Saw that green Griso again in Frome yesterday, going past my house. Must be local

Quite a few on the car park at Stafford Show yesterday. 3 EVs including mine, a tidy LMII with 80000+ miles on it, a very well used Breva 750, a Nevada and a relatively high mileage blue V50 which always gets parked by the ticket booth. Meanwhile on the BBC website today http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32416619

Think Kate & Guy Wain were popping along.

White 850 T3 on the junction of Wurzburgerstrasse and Wachbacherstrasse in Bad Mergentheim 10.30 this morning. It’s in Bavaria. We both looked equally surprised to see one another :open_mouth:

There was a Griso and an 100 Breva on Aberystwyth seafront when I went up there on the V7loop.

Black Breva with boxes going north on the Fosse way in Bretford yesterday. I was the red 1200 sport going south, on my way back from Donington Park.

Silver Breva big block with panniers riding passed Tesco Hattersley around 1800 25/5. Wavier at me and two others by the McD opposite.

What I think was a V50 or a V65 at ‘Squires’ this afternoon. Only quickly noticed it on my way out. Very sweet lookingÂ

Two Cali’s (a T3 & a EV) parked up in Audlem with a Bandit, around 1pm today.

20 June while riding in Cornwall, saw a Griso and maybe a Breva parked by the Ship Inn outside Fowey.
Passed a Griso on the A30 Bodmin way he was heading West, me East
 Â

Red and Gold V7 Classic on the A14…mid day ish…

Is it me?!

I haven’t seen a single Guzzi anywhere since buying my V7 over a month ago. Feels like I have a very exclusive bike! (maybe East Midlands folk just don’t have very good taste

I’ll keep looking though…

I saw another one once about 20 years ago, while I was on mine … he clocked mine and gave me a thumbs up, think we were both on a roundabout at the M11/A120 or something like that.
