Moto Guzzi Sightings

Yesterday a black+ red stripe S3 or 1000S (or lookalike) turning towards Hay on Wye / Brecon on A438 from Hereford. Not sure exactly which model (I was, ahem, “making progress” in the opposite direction) but out of the corner of my eye it looked v. smart . Someone going home from Prescot Bike Fest ?

Nice Griso at the Ashby Folville Bike night this evening, and my Spada.

Red V50 coming thro Cellarhead lites 12.30 ish…

400 miles and none

Including myself there was a nice collection of Italian bikes at the ‘Route 59’ cafe though. Panagele, Tuono, a Benelli, Multistrada and a few others. Always good to see other Italian bikes even the the cylinders are the wrong way round or too many of them.

Two in one journey.

A round barrel metalic cafe racer on Calderbrook Rd between Todmorden and Littleborough around 1445 and then a V7ii in Todmorden central 10 mins later.

Belagio A 35 sunday 1035 headin west towards Weymouth,Dorchester.riding with some inferior motorcycles 4/5 other riders.Possibly surfing on the river piddle, puddletown, dorset nobs,Portlanders, cannot beat a bit of Dorset.

White Stelvio on the A360 north from Salisbury to Devizes yesterday evening. I was in the car and he was behind me through Shrewton.

Also black 58 reg Stelvio steaming down the outside lane of the M5 southbound past Portishead about a week ago

Red V11 Sport southbound A34 near Congleton, Cheshire Sunday afternoon.

Steve

Cream coloured V7 between Market Drayton and Loggerheads around midday…

A shiny California Vintage at the Raven Cafe, Prees, around 1pm Saturday 6th May.

Nice 1000 at the Westonzoyland sprint yesterday. It was B reg and could be a Spada I guess. Also John W’s beautiful cafe racer was there (seen also at Bristol Italia), plus my old Lemon. Sadly no Guzzis on the strip. There was a very lovely Aermacchi 350 single though. Black Dragon MCs had his blown Kwacker there, they way that thing hooked up was awesome: 9 sec/152 mph was one of his goes. He is the guy that supercharges Guzzis.

I would post pics but find that on Windows 10 you no longer have Windows Picture manager so I don’t know how to resize pictures any more

If Windows 10 then it should have come with its version of Windows Paint, which can. Search Windows for “paint” (Click magnifying glass left end of task bar.)

HTH

I looked at Paint, but could not immediately see how to reduce the image size. Will have another looks thanks.

Jim

Yours may differ of course, but not sure why if it’s Windows 10

Breva 750, red/pink metallic spotted in Holbury heading towards Fawley/Blackfield on A326, young lady I think but may have been a hippy?

A black Norge with panniers at Sheerness docks today. Whoever is the owner I presume works for the same towing company as me

thanks, found this button and played with it (ooh err). Couldn’t make it work. You can either reduce by percent or by pixels, but it only seems to alter the physical size of the image, and didn’t reduce the MB at all (not sure how you can reduce the pixels and not have a smaller file but there go)

I’ve been trying to solve this as well, never managed to solve it.
This is what Microsoft say…

"You can resize the photo to the desired size through Photo Gallery app. Follow the below steps to resize the photos. Open the Start menu, type Photo gallery in the search box and click on Photo Gallery (Desktop app).

Accept the agreement to install Window essentials 2012 if prompted (Enter the admin credentials if needed).

Now you may open the photo location from the left navigation pane on the photo Gallery app.

Select the photo and right click and select Resize."

I have something similar on my Windows 7 computer at work, but can’t work this out on my home laptop.

Oh right perhaps I misunderstood - display size, not actual image resizing. That’s useless then!

But was sure I did it once with Paint, will have to have another play.

Memory is fickle. . .

OK did have another play, with my version below… Resize…
… WILL resize the image, i.e. greater/fewer pixels = bigger/smaller file size. You then need to click File, Save As. Tip: save as a slightly different name if you want to preserve the original.

HTH (?)
