Story behind it. I wanted something to do a big tour of Scotland and my Ducati now too back breaking sadly.
I looked for the cheapest 22 Model as they have tubeless spoked wheels
This bike had 2 owners, the 1st had it a year and did 15k on it, Frasers Of Gloucester bought it back and resold it to someone who did virtually no miles and also left it unprotected from the elements. So it had quite a lot of typical MG corrosion. The corrosion only really affects the black engine/gearbox parts. I have replaced the valve covers and cleaned up most of the blemishes. The only bit left is the final drive casing which while serviceable could do with coming off stripping and repainting in VHT. The silencer has some very small blemishs and there are some hard to spot small areas of corrosion
I established it had a full history and then gave it to Frasers of Gloucester for the 18k major service. They were told to fix anything that wasn’t right. There were some software updates and new back pads was all. I then asked the dealer owner to take it for a longish test ride and report if all seemed good for a 2000ml trip. Came back with the comment, feels like every other Moto Guzzi:roll_eyes:

At the moment it is fitted with the Low Seat. The std seat is perfect. You can choose either. Fitted with heated grips
Michelin Anakee with 3k on them
Satnav Bar. Additional 12v Satnav wiring in addition to the USB. Optimate charging tail.
All the paperwork is correct. mG no longer have service books but I have all invoices. Owners Manual.
