Today I finally washed my filthy V7 - a 2024 Stone Special Edition. Looks great again.
However when drying it off I noticed a rubber ‘O’ ring, about 10mm internal diameter, appeared in the cloth I was using. At the time I was drying the area around the rear brake pedal although not sure if that’s is where the ‘O’ ring came from.
Can someone with a V7 850 have a look and tell me if theirs looks different to the photo below, please?
Was the O ring complete or broken?

Yes, seems to have snapped. Does feel a bit stiff and is shiny - not sure if that’s indicates anything of much use though.

I’ve read somewhere on another forum that it isn’t strictly necessary but MG clearly think it is or it wouldn’t be there I guess
