I would appreciate some advice.
How does the fuel tank vent, is there a one way air intake in the fuel cap?
Are those things in the fuel lines flame stoppers?
Many thanks for any information.
Hello Cymro
Not sure about the tank vent on your model but usually there is a vent hole within the cap.
The things in the fuel lines could be in line fuel filters but a photo would help as the term “thing” is a bit general.
Best wishes Chris
Hi, The things in the fuel lines on investigation are quick release joints that seal off the petrol when the fuel lines are split. Good idea in theory but as the fuel lines have to be removed from the petrol taps to lift off the tank then not of any use. Coupled with the fact they are wedged betweeen the top of the air filter and the frame. Another two items for the cupboard, may be of some use one day, lawnmower maybe?
