Hi All,

Bought a 6 month old V85TT e5+ in December.

Liking it, not yet loving it. My summary so far would be:

Love the clean shaft drive, no more oily wheels and destroyed sponges!

Love the pop on overrun

Love the clean air with the screen at its lowest.

Not so much:

Slipped the back wheel sideways on a gentle corner, foot instantaneously hit the ground. I blame the 150 tyres, last time that happened was 10 years ago on another bike with a 150. Last 10 years on a bike with a 180, never slipped once.

The new style dash reset on me for no reason, clock time, settings etc all reset for no apparent reason, I hadn’t even washed it!. I guess electrics is something to keep and eye on and maybe get ahead of on this bike.

Welcome to the club and hope you get comfy with her! Curious what tyres you have on there and what the wear level is? Are they semi off roads? If you don’t need that I’d go for straight road tyres maybe? Good luck!

Thanks! They are just standard Anakees (If I’ve spelt that right) with less than 5k miles on them. Plan to do a bit of light offroading so will hold off going full roadie for now, but is an option.
