Hi all
I own several bikes mostly big four seventies Japanese and some Triumphs so have no experience of Italian metal.Sadly an old friend has cancer and decided to sell his 1980 LM mk2 which hasn’t run for 35 plus years but mostly complete except for the full fairing.
So have joined the club for your expertise! 
Welcome to the forum Dunc, it looks like there is still air in the tyres, quite a feat after 35 years standing!

Welcome to the forum & the world of Guzzi ownership. That looks like quite a good start for a project. That fairing is an aftermarket one. If you wanted an original one, Gutsibits would probably be able to help you out.
You will probably get to know them very well as they are the main suppliers of older Guzzi bits in this country.
Welcome, a poster of a Le Mans on my bedroom wall as a yoof, kindled a lifelong hankering for a Guzzi. I’ve recently acquired my first and been foiled by circumstances from putting more than a handful of miles on it. Hey ho, roads will soon be free of frost, snow and salt.

Yeah exciting project and the fairing is as said aftermarket and would be interested in acquiring an original as i want to keep her original
