New member, hello 👋

Hi, I just joined today. I returned to riding last October after a 10 year break, I went with a V7 850 (Stone Ten) as I wanted something middle-weight-ish, and I’d always admired Guzzis despite never owning one. ~2k miles in, and knocking the rust off the riding skills. Loving it so far, it’s been a great bike to get back in the saddle with. I haven’t really changed much yet, apart from adding some adjustable levers and a louder horn. Probably look at a rack at some point soon, and maybe a small screen. Barring mishaps I can see me keeping it for a long time, even if I add another bike to the garage. Rich :waving_hand:

Fab, and greetings - I have 2021 V7 850 Special. :+1:

For a screen I am using Puig Touring 1, easy to fit. I agree about the horn.
Keep an eye (and ear) on the front disc, the bobbins can come loose. I got a better disc from EBC, rather than OEM again. Of course it could be the factory disc is better quality now.

I’ll keep an eye on it, thanks. No sign of any issues so far thankfully, apart from a small amount of oil around the bottom of the cylinders during the running in period. I read someone else’s post about that where they were told by other owners that it’s not uncommon and would likely clear up by itself with running, and that seems to be the case with mine.

Welcome Rich.
The V7 is such a great bike to enjoy the summer sun, enjoy :sun_with_face:
(I’ve fitted a Denali horn on my older 750 V7, it’s a massive improvement over the standard offering).

I went for a Denali Soundbomb Mini, it made a big difference. Had to change it after riding a local toy run, the stock horn was too embarrassing :joy:
