New member new bike

Hi all, new member here from Merseyside. Pick up my new to me V7 on Tuesday. Can’t wait. Been riding since the 80’s. Love all bikes but been drawn to the V7 for a while. Already picked up some good advice on the forum (thunderbox).

Enjoy your V7 … it’s a great bike and I’m sure it will remind you of back in the day. You won’t be disappointed. I don’t think that there’s too many V7s on Merseyside at least that I’ve ever spotted. So you will have a rare beast!!! Welcome to the community.

Thank you. 5 more sleeps. I’m really excited. Need a few dry days as my wet riding days are over if I can help it

Yep. I know what you mean. Being a fair weather biker I usually sorn mine over the autumn/winter months then it’s out and about for spring. Being in Merseyside myself I’ll look out for another V7 in Spring. Take care running it in. Cheers Bazzer.

Thanks Larry I will. It’s the burnt orange colour. Roll on the dry weather :+1::motorcycle::motorcycle:

Welcome Bazzer. I hope you get some dry weather to get some miles on the V7. :+1:

Thanks Horton. I’ve already warned the boss I will be late home when I pick it up :grinning:. I’ll post some pics when I get her.

Welcome Bazza - enjoy!

Thanks Paul. I have no doubt I will have lots of questions. Loving the set up of the website and forum. See you’re a fellow. :+1:. I did my IAM test about 5 years ago. Got a first. Loved it but didn’t have time to attend the local club and left now due to the increase in price. Highly recommend the courses to anyone regardless of experience. I learned loads even after riding for 25 years before I went.

Hi Bazzer - Welcome

Thank you M.

Ah, be careful Bazzer, as a new V7 owner myself (an old 2010 variety in my case) I’ve gotta warn you, the very slightest excuse will have you wheeling it out and firing it up.
Enjoy and welcome.
(Also I have to say, the welcome and technical support on here is superb. :ok_hand: )

Haha you’re not wrong King :crown::blush::blush:thank you. Already super impressed with the forum.

Picked the bike up today!!!
Couldn’t fault it. Comfortable and made me smile all the way home. I’ve ordered some grip puppies as the grips feel like two pencils. (Narrow, I always have the puppies now I’m older :grinning:)
It has the Hepco and Becker luggage racks. Anyone know if any soft luggage from givi would fit? Like to keep it Italian if I can. Thanks in advance.
