No neutral light - Sport 1100i, 1996

Hello all,
Bulb tested ok, neutral light not working. Starts up ok. Runs a lot better now new rubbers fitted and exhaust clamps tightened up :grinning:

Can I assume (as I can’t find anything in the manual, so going by experience) that the very hard to get to part behind the starter is the neutral switch?

If so, I guess the starter motor has to come off to get to it?

Not meant to be a stupid question as there will always be someone who says ‘I know the easy way to get that changed!’

Try the easiest options first, check that the wiring to the bulb is ok, may be corrosion on the terminals?

Hi,
I tried all that, all ok. However, after much man handling I finally saw the green light come on, so all is good, thankfully!
Another snag closed :grinning:
