Noisy 2nd gear

Good afternoon.

I’ve been getting a few miles on my 1985 V65SP after its rebuild and apart from a noisy 2nd gear all has been pretty good so far.

Anyone have any thoughts on noisy Motoguzzi gearboxs? I have old Brit bikes with similar intermediate gear issues and they have never caused me any grief other than the need for better ear plugs!

Just get on with that. Tiny magnet on FILLER plug will tell you if something serious happens inside, but personally - I’d leave it as a sort of Italian folklore.
