Hi, I have a 57 plate 2 valve Norge which up until now has been fundamentally flawless. (I’ve had it for nearly 15 years).
I took a ride out today for about 20 miles. Stopped at a cafe for half an hour and returned to the bike. I turned the key and nothing happened, the dash was blank and the bike didn’t go through it’s usual start up process. In fact the only thing that worked was the satnav which appears to be independently wired to the battery.
After about 10 minutes of head scratching and turning the key the lights suddenly re-appeared and I was able to start it.
I know this has been a problem on other bikes but I haven’t paid too much attention as it just didn’t seem to be a problem for this bike.
I have searched this forum but being a technophobe I don’t seem to put the words together to find the correct thread, so any help would be gratefully received.
