I serviced my late model 1200 Sport 4V recently and  reset the “Service” function on the dashboard and checked for error codes etc. No problems. However, when I set off to ride the other day I realised that my main odometer (not the trip one) was now showing zero.
How did this happen? Surely it shouldn’t be possible to zero your bike’s total mileage? Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to reinstate my proper mileage?
