Oil seals in the barrels

I’m in the process of revamping the top end of a recently acquired V65SP and I’m finding the manual a bit vague on the matter of of the little orange oil seals of which I have been sent 4. I know one goes between the crankcase and the bottom of the barrel where the oil is obviously fed up to the rockers, but does one really go at the top of the cylinder on the spigot? There doesn’t seem to be a ‘flat’ for the seal to compress against. Have I simply been sent 2 too many seals?

There are parts books and workshop manuals for the V65 at

You should be able to ascertain what you are looking for in one or both of those, they have exploded diagrams showing the parts.
