Looking for recommendations for panniers to fit 21 v7 850, trip abroad next year , don’t want to use soft luggage, like the look of c-bow fittings , are they any good? , any for sale ? , Cheers, John
CBow work really well.
Had them on 4 different bikes - the fittings sell on Ebay for about 1/2 new cost so look there.
Btw I have some Royster C-Bow bags for sale - 13 L expandable to 16L with a waterproof inner. Lock to the bike easy to unlock and move. very good condition - look like this Ebay pix Roysters £75 plus postage or pick up
I use c-bow frames, easy to fit and a good range of bags. Currently rocking the x-core hard cases for commuting and touring duties on the Guzzi.

If you’re still in the market for a set, it’s worth checking out longride.com. I’ve had a set of their canvas Patriot (silly name) panniers coming up to two years and they’re excellent. I think they look really good, they’re well made, waterproof (so far) and can be locked on the bike if you opt for version that uses a frame.
I even visited their factory in Belgium during a trip to Germany last year and they are a nice, small family run business. I stopped by to pick up some extending straps as the panniers can hold quite a lot, but remain slimline enough not to hamper filtering, which is why I chose these.

Thanks for info , took advantage of new year discount & bought shad sh23 panniers & fitting kit , these plus givi top box i’ve had on a few bikes will be all the space i need , cheers
