Evening folks.
Well, its full steam ahead for the Pennine Rallycamp.
It would appear that the weather is going to be its usual mixed bag, but hopefully more dry than damp.
Unfortunately we have had a last minute problem with the supply of our usual ale from Padstow Brewing Co. We had four firkins of Windjammer Ruby Ale due for delivery on Monday morning. Padstow contacted us to say their latest brew was not quite up to par, and their QC team is not happy supplying anything that is not 100%. Respect to them.
They offered us another ale, but we decided, as it was a bit late in the day, we would source a replacement locally.
After a frantic morning ringing round, we decided to try Theakstons XB Ruby Ale, so.. a roadtrip to the Theakstons Brewery at Masham tomorrow!
As one of their other ales, “Old Peculiar” is my favourite pint I may not make it back for the rally🤣
(It was suggested that we get a couple of firkins of OP for the rally, but we dont want everyone mashed by 8pm😁
They have promised us something for the raffle. Nice one.
Windjammer will return for the 2026 rally.

. If you are coming on Saturday please be advised Skipton town centre will be closed to traffic for the Gala parade.
If you are coming from the South of Skipton ,take the A629 bypass Nth and enter via Wyvern Road , Carleton Rd and Carleton New Road. From any other direction Use A59 Skipton Northern bypass and enter via turnoff onto Broughton Road, round the canal bends under the bypass then left turn, back on yourself opposite the Railway Station.
